Waunakee Softball is celebrating 45 years! Our program is growing and improving. We will have field enhancements this year and in the years to come. We want to make sure we include the people that built this program and helped us get to where we are now. We believe this is our first year we are inviting our alumni, and we plan to make this a tradition. Come to visit with old teammates, cheer on the current 2024 team, listen to Coach Steve Ryan announce the game, get a T-shirt, and answer softball trivia between each inning!Please fill out the form by April 21st.

Davis Named Head Softball Coach

Tyler Davis has been named the new head coach for Waunakee Softball.

"Coach Davis's energy and passion for student success stands out," Waunakee Activities Director Aaron May said.

A Juda, Wisconsin native, Davis played baseball and wrestled in high school. Davis has played and umpired fastpitch for the past nine years. Most recently, Davis has served as an assistant coach to both Spencer Lee and Micah Thingvold in Waunakee's baseball program. Prior to coming to Waunakee, Davis was also an assistant wrestling coach at Juda High School.

"We're excited for the future of the program with Coach Davis at the helm," May said. "Seeing the initial steps of the program take shape will be exciting."

May shared that Davis has accomplished a lot in a short period of time, and presented knowledge about the Waunakee team and students, along with a vision of where to go from here.

"I am most excited to get to know and build relationships with all of the players to create a strong team culture," Davis said.
